Play for teenagers “King of the Hill” is inspired by the novel “Lord of the Flies”, written by William Golding, and created regarding the realities of the current youth. Director Agnė Sunklodaitė analyses the world of teenagers, their fears, and the nature of cruelty. How do the lowest instincts take root in us and overshadow aspects making humans human? How is cruelty born? How the power takes the leader spot in the consciousness of the child as well as the wish to outrival the other? What is humanity? What spawns fear and hatred? What does unlimited power and desire for it lead to? The creators believe that, currently, these questions are exceptionally relevant once again. We live in a world, where tolerance and empathy are loudly declared, but, in reality, we have to deal with cruelty, intolerance, and bullying. During the performance, the audience will be able not only to observe the action but also to speak their minds, search for answers to relevant questions together, and make decisions.

The interactive performance is recommended for teenagers of 13–16 years old.
