Rolandas Atkočiūnas

Director

Rolandas Augustinas Atkočiūnas was born on 16 August 1961, in Kaunas. In 1990, he graduated from Moscow‘s Boris Shchukin Theater Institute. For a few years he worked in Moscow as the director in the Suben Simonov theater and as the art manager in the Otkrovenije theater. In 1992, he founded Kaunas Little Theater (Lith. Kauno Mažasis teatras) and worked as the art manager for two years. In 1994, he worked in Šiauliai Drama theater (director, art manager and theater manager), from 2005 to 2008 he was Liepoja (Latvia) Drama theater director and art manager, and from 2004 to 2008, he worked as the art manager for the John the Baptist festival in Zapyškis.
